election results: I received 4,692 votes (2.3%) -- 59 more than
my Green opponent. This was despite there being almost twice as

Libertarians, and despite her media exposure as a leader of the 9/11
"Truth" Movement.

and Libertarian
candidate for Congress on Nov 7 2006 against 8-term incumbent Anna
Eshoo
in the 14th congressional district of California's Silicon
Valley. I'm fiscally conservative, socially liberal -- and disgusted that the incumbent parties have mortgaged our children's future to buy votes from special interests. Republicans want government to be our chaperone. Democrats want government to be our nanny. I want government to be just our referee and lifeguard. Incumbent Eshoo has won five straight elections by a 2-to-1 margin. Don't waste your vote ratifying Eshoo's predetermined victory. Don't let the entrenched parties take your vote for granted. Instead, cast a clear and unambiguous vote for the policies of the 21st century: personal freedom and responsibility, free and fair markets, and smart environmentalism.
